Ok ya'll here's what I didi for my header:
1)Filled the Background red with the paint bucket tool
2)Added a gradient overlay and drop shadow to the background so it faded from red to white (HSM Colors!), and gave it s nice shadow
(3)Added Text
4)Added an outer glow and a bevel/emboss to the letters
5)Placed three high School musical Pictures
6)Added a stroke to each picture
